DIRECTOR + COACH | BRITTANY PHILIP
Brittany played high school lacrosse in Upstate NY at Corning East. From there she took her lacrosse career to Queens University of Charlotte. While at Queens, Brittany was a captain her junior and senior year and earned lacrosse accolades including, but not limited to, 2012 Conference Carolinas Player of the Year, IWLCA All American Second Team and IWLCA All-Region First Team as well as representing Queens University of Charlotte as a NCAA Woman of the Year Nominee. She finished her career as the all time team leader in goals with 166 and draw controls with 189 and set the single season record in goals with 54. Brittany graduated with a degree in Sports Communication and Marketing in May 2012 and currently works at GMR on Olympic Games consulting business. She was a part of the inaugural SPYA Girls Lacrosse season in 2012 and took over the girls side of the program, becoming the Director shortly after. She is also the Director of Rising Stars at Queen City Stars and Director of the Charlotte Women’s Lacrosse Club.
INTRO + 8U PROGRAM LEAD + COACH | KELSEY HAGEMAN
Kelsey Hageman is a Maryland transplant who has re-established roots in NC. She has played lacrosse since 2nd grade, playing varsity lacrosse in Leonardtown, MD for 4 years in high school. After relocating to Charlotte to pursue employment opportunities, she attended UNCC, where she received her Bachelor's in Economics in December of 2018. Kelsey is passionate about lacrosse and credits her mother with this instilled passion. Kelsey experienced the first-hand development and growth of the St. Mary’s Girls Lacrosse League, a program started and run by her mom since 2003. She is an excellent teacher and enjoys seeing the girls’ improvement. Kelsey coached for the Southern Maryland JETs, a travel team based in Maryland, prior to moving to NC. She started coaching for SPYA in the fall of 2015 and is delighted to make a continuous difference in girls’ lives as part of SPYA and the QCS Rising Stars programs. Kelsey is amazing with this age group and a huge reason why girls in our program first learn that they love the sport of lacrosse.
10U PROGRAM LEAD + COACH | ANNIE GREENWOOD
Annie is originally from Northern Virginia and began playing lacrosse in 4th grade. She played 4 years of varsity lacrosse at Marshall High School and continued in college on the Virginia Tech Women's Club Lacrosse team. Annie served as a captain her junior year and helped her team attend the WCLA National Championship and finish the season as the National runner-up. She became the club's President and served as a player/coach her senior and brought the team to WCLA Nationals for the third consecutive year. After graduating in 2016 with a degree in Marketing Management, Annie moved to Charlotte and currently works in marketing/client services at Red Ventures. Annie will also serve as the program lead for 10U to guide all 10U coaches to success.
12U PROGRAM LEAD + COACH | MEGAN MOORE
Megan has been playing lacrosse since 7th grade. She played varsity lacrosse in high school in Lake Worth, FL and then took her talents to Florida State University where she played club and received a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Sport Management. She currently works at Ardrey Kell, and teaches Sports Marketing and Entertainment. She joined SPYA in 2017 and also coaches for the Queen City Stars Rising Stars Program. Megan is an amazing coach and the perfect match for these girls who are at a critical point in their lacrosse journey.
